Summary
Tyson Fury proved he's the best heavyweight in the world, and among the top pound-for-pound fighters, with an emphatic knockout win over Deontay Wilder in the 11th round of the trilogy title fight on Saturday. The back-and-forth bout, an instant classic, showed great from both fighers. This includes Wilder, who was eventually finished but landed his own shots that sent Fury to the mat. What we saw is an all-time heavyweight title bout.
Our special live blogging guest was heavyweight Otto Wallin (Website, Instagram, Twitter) who fought Fury in September 2019 and bloodied the Brit, ultimately losing in a decision — the only loss on Wallin's record.
Wallin will next fight in three weeks, on Oct. 30, against Dillian Whyte in the O2 Arena in London. But before that, the southpaw will be here in our live blog, giving his analysis on Wilder-Fury III, and even taking some questions from readers.

Tyson Fury's next opponent will be...
If you're checking the off-shore books, Dillian Whyte is the clear favorite, but Whyte actually faces (our?) Otto Wallin later this month, and the outcome of that fight will have ramifications on who gets a shot at Fury. (Wallin, we remind you, went the distance with Fury and opened a large cut over Fury's eye in the process.)
Whyte -- aka The Body Snatcher -- is Fury's countryman and a former kickboxer.

Biggest takeaways from the epic fight
Wilder landed some incredibly hard shots on Fury — including two knockdowns in the fourth — but Fury got back up and landed more of his own. He did a lot of what he did in the second fight, staying patient and picking his shots before going for the kill.
Fury unfortunately will no longer have Anthony Joshua, his fellow countryman, to fight next in what many would have considered the biggest fight in UK history. Dillian Whyte, his mandatory, could be a good next option before facing either Joshua or Usyk for the remainder of the heavyweight belts.
No matter who he fights in 2022, you know it’ll be electric. There’s no other way for Fury to be.

OK, Tyson, we won't
For the record, there were few doubters, and every sportsbook indicated Fury was the clear favorite. But nonetheless.

Otto's final thoughts
I just got to finish by saying - what a great fight. This is a victory for boxing. The best needs to fight the best and when that happens this is the greatest sport on earth.
If you liked Otto Wallin here tonight
He fights Oct. 30 in O2 Arena in London! Give him some love!
Watching the replay of this fight-ending KO
The ref called it as Wilder was falling and it looked like he even tried to help brace his fall at the very end.
What a fight
Congratulations to Fury. Wilder couldn’t match Fury’s strength on the inside and Fury was using his weight well and Wilder got tired and ultimately beat up at the end.

What a fight!
Fury has wilder down midway and beating Wilder up and then Wilder comes back and hurts Fury at the end! Wow. Both guys are showing big heart.
IT'S OVER!
Tyson Fury finishes Deontay Wilder with an overhand right and it's over in the 11th! What a fight.
This is like a "Rocky" fight
For pure entertainment value, this fight has been incredible. This is wild swings, huge punches landing, wobbly legs, fatigued heavyweights. I don't want to look away to type this
FURY...NO WILDER...NO FURY!
Fury drops Wilder midway through the 10th with a right hook. Wilder gets up and Fury goes for the kill. Wilder then lands a right hand of his own! This is madness.
Extremely exciting fight
Fury is winning right now but Wilder is still in it.

Down goes Wilder!
Fury drops him with a right hook middle of Round 10.
Wilder is bleeding a little from his mouth
Not a ton, but you could see it when his corner was toweling him off and reached into his mouth with the towel, which came out red
Round 9 sees back and forth action
Both guys landed plenty of hard shots. It appeared Fury was taking control of this one but Wilder, with just seconds left, added a right hand of his own to get himself back in this. Should be another Fury round but Wilder isn't going away.
